{"id":7629,"date":"2022-02-09T13:27:21","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T11:27:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/avli-malia.gr\/?p=7629"},"modified":"2025-05-19T14:47:17","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T11:47:17","slug":"to-diko-mas-agourelaio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avli-malia.gr\/en\/to-diko-mas-agourelaio\/","title":{"rendered":"Our own early olive oil"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"el\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">Early olive oil is the natural juice from crushing unripe &#8211; unwrinkled olives retaining the green color and aroma of the fresh fruit.<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\" style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"el\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">It is rich in all the valuable ingredients of olives &#8211; antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and provitamins, polyphenols and therapeutic substances &#8211; but also up to 5 times higher in content than a simple extra virgin olive oil of two important ingredients, Oleasin and <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Oleocanthal<\/span><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"el\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"el\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A good, early Extra Virgin Olive Oil should have a low acidity (&lt;0.8%), be produced at a temperature below 28 \u00b0 C within a few hours of harvest and comes natural<\/span>ly from disease-free pure fruits, preferably harvested by hands. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"el\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">It keeps these qualities for 3 to 6 months until it becomes <strong>extra virgin olive oil<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"el\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">In some countries <strong>extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> is prescribed and sold in pharmacies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\"><strong>You can taste the early extra virgin olive oil of our produce<br \/>\nduring February on some of our dishes.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Early olive oil is the natural juice from crushing unripe &#8211; unwrinkled olives retaining the green color and aroma of the fresh fruit.
